JUDGING PANEL 2010 Each year we endeavor to include influential members of the film and comic industry on our Judges Panel, who have a connection with East Kent in some way, so that increasingly, competition participants are offered an opportunity to show their work professionally and take ownership and pride in their own creative talents. |

The attending audience to the April Fools' Screenings votes for Best Popular Film/Stand-Up from the Matinee and Shortlist Screenings. So far this year's judging panel consists of: Tim Arthur – Director of Time Out Live Brenda Blethyn OBE –Ramsgate born BAFTA & Golden Globe Award winner, and Academy Award nominated. Credits include Saving Grace, Plots with a View and Clubland. Oliver Double –Comedian, author and lecturer in stand-up comedy at the University of Kent Jon Holmes – Writer, comedian, broadcaster. Credits included Dead Ringers, V Graham Norton and Mock the Week. Pappys – Comedy collective. Credits included Comedy Shuffle, Answer Me This! and Transmision Impossible with Ed & Oucho. Mike Shaw – Film correspondent, KM What’s On, and editor of www.the-void.co.uk Timothy Spall OBE – BAFTA nominated Actor. Credits included Secrets & Lies, Topsy-Turvy, The Last Hangman and The Damned United. |
