2 Days Laughter Comedy and DV filmmaking workshops

This year we held two types of workshops, first was an opportunity to be in the audience of a discussion panel on Writing Comedy For TV and Film hosted by Electric Mouse Comedy in central London that was held in February. A panel of established writers, producers and directors discussed the role of comedy screen writing; from situational comedy, comedy films, to the role of humour in ‘straight’ drama.

We then held a series of one-day Introduction to DV filmmaking workshops run by Beeping Bush, designed especially to encourage aspiring and novice filmmakers from the local and regional community who have little or no experience of filmmaking, that took place at The Community Pharmacy Gallery in March.
