YOUNG COMIC FILM CATEGORY

By popular demand, we have introduced a new film category to allow younger filmmakers to enter the competition. It's all the same rules and conditions - but open to under 18s only.

There will be a special early Matinee Screening around April Fools' Day 2010 at the Theatre Royal, Margate, open to participants, their guests and the public. Prizes for this category will be awarded after the screening.

The competition is open to any young person under 18 years of age (at the time of screening on April 2010), and is open to individuals, schools and youth clubs etc. A responsible adult (over 18) must sign the Competition entry form as the producer.

Beeping Bush will be conducting free “Introduction to DV filmmaking” workshops at our studios in Margate and other locations across Kent in February 2010. These will be special workshops specifically designed to encourage young filmmakers to try their hand at making a film for the competition.
