Due to the fantastic response we had from the 2008 April Fools' Screening Event that was held at the Theatre Royal Margate (pictured right) we hope to do it again in 2009.

All film entries were shown to public audience and shortlisted films were judged by a panel of film industry professionals competing for prizes that included a place on Raindance’s Writing for Comedy with Dave Cohen and FIVE courses from Insight Education.

Although the competition is now closed for 2008 anyone wishing to register their interest for next year's competition then please email here. A selection of film submissions shown at the April Fools' Screening 2008 will be able available to be viewed here on this site from around August 2008. There will be a short documentary of the Screening night available here in the next couple of weeks (beginning of May 2008).
