Omid Djalili is one of the country’s top actors and comedians – indeed, he is probably the only Iranian stand-up comedian working in Britain today. Recently the star of his own series ‘The Omid Djalili Show’ for the BBC, he has enjoyed a prolific profile on TV, appearing in ‘Black Books’ ‘Room 101’, ‘Richard & Judy’, ‘Have I Got News for You’ and ‘The Royal Variety Performance’ to name but a few.
His film roles include: ‘The Mummy’, ‘Gladiator’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End’, ‘The World is Not Enough’, ‘Alien Autopsy’, ‘Anita and Me’ and ‘The Calcium Kid’.
He will be next seen in the film ‘The Love Guru’ alongside Mike Myers, Jessica Alba and Justin Timberlake.
